Fourth of July Fun

Happy to spend another 4th with our extended family and friends.  We first headed to Clarksburg for their small town parade.  It was like stepping back in time, or as I put it at the time, "I feel like we are in the movie The Sandlot!"  We love that little town.  Unfortunately we didn't pick a great spot to watch the parade, it never came down the street we waited on! Oh well, a couple things drove by and the kids were happy to play at their friend's house and beat the heat.

Next we were en route to the Sahotas for swimming, BBQ, fireworks and fun.  Meg made two yummy adult beverages - sangria and proseco lemonade.  We brought a store-bought cake (gasp! so unlike me!) and cupcakes.  Our hosts had lots of yummy food and we enjoyed spending the day with them.

Emmie and I made sure our nails were ready for the holiday.

Watching the fire truck go by.

Throwing poppers.

Amazed by all the fireworks!

Logan wore head phones to block the noise - he has never been a fan of that part!

One of the literally hundreds of pics Logan snapped of the action.
